Ans- The developed test cases are covered all the functionality of the application we can say test cases are enough. to know this we have to use RTM. ”

7.If a defect is detected by you and the developer not compromising with that defect, what will you do?

Ans- Follow the steps below
1) Reproduce the defect.
2) Capture the defect screenshot.
3) Document the proper inputs that you are used to get the defect in defect report.
4) Send the defect report with screenshots, inputs and procedure for defect repoduction.
Before sending this you must check your computer hard ware configuration that is same as developer system configuration. also check the system graphic drivers are properly installed or not. if the problem in graphic drivers the User interface error will come. So first make sure that if it is correct from your side then report the defect by following above steps. ”

8.Give Example of High Priority and low severity defects?

Ans–High Priority & High Severity: An error which occurs on the basic functionality of the application and will not allow the user to use the system.

High Severity & Low Priority: An error which occurs on one of the functionality of the application and will not allow the user to use that functionality but that functionality which is rarely used by the end user.

High Priority & Low Severity: The client logo is not appearing on the web site but the site is working fine. in this case the severity is low but the priority is high because from company’s reputation it is most important to resolve. After all the reputation wins more clients and projects and hence increases revenue.

Low Priority and Low Severity: Any cosmetic or spelling issues which is within a paragraph or in the report

So the bottom line is that in the priority v/s severity matrix the priority is completely business impact driven and the severity is completely technical impact driven.

9.How do you review test cases ?

Ans– Reviewing test cases depend upon company stadards It can be Peer Review, team lead review, project manager review or some times client may also review the test cases to know what are all the approaches following for project.”
